What Twitter does after all?

In my personal opinion, Twitter is the worst online communication tool. I never understood, what it actually does.

How it helps people being in touch?
What will people do knowing what I am (or anyone is) doing in the world?
I don’t understand why it is getting popular.

Google Transit out of Google Labs

Google Transit, the public transit feature previously available only as a Google Labs feature is now completely integrated into Google Maps.
